You can also use DC unlocker but Universal master code generator is used to calculate the unlock and Flash codes for Huawei E-173.Also Download and install Huawei E-173 Firmware  (Download latest by searching in Google for  Huawei E-173 Firmware ) to update your firmware.

After downloading Universal master code generator plugin your data card and run the software.Now enter the IMEI number which you can note down form your device and the Calculate Button.so the Unlock code and the Flash code will be calculated.Now insert a different Sim like Aircel ,Idea or Vodaphone  (Different form the Data card provider).




You will be demanded for Unlock Code. Enter The code that was generated by Universal master code generator. and it done. You ave unlock the Airtel 3G Data Card -Huawei E173.Download the  Huawei Mobile partner Software from here.This software is a GUI to
create a new profile to connect to the internet.




After downloading  Huawei Mobile partner Software create a new profile by navigating Tools>>Options>>Profile Management. Enter the APN and save the profile and click on the connect button.

  3. My airtel modem is showing invalid sim or incorrect sim card if i insert another network sim, instead of given a space for code. and the sims are properly inserted. what do i do?

    a. the data card is not properly connected to the OC
    b. other program is using the datacard
    c. you do not have the authority of the administrator
    my IMEI is 867749012454108
    UNLOCK CODE : 38678652
    FLASH CODE : 64517281
    Modem is E173u-2
    Pls hurry and help. what do u advise i do?
