The descendant to ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime is possibly available to the first device to ship with the capable NVIDIA Tegra 3 SoC.

The tablet is specked out pretty nicely with a 10.1-inch IPS panel display under Gorilla Glass covering and an 8.3mm spun-aluminum body, all weighing in at 586 grams.

The system gets 1GB of memory and flash storage option is split between two models—32GB and 64GB.

The tablet itself has a mini-HDMI output, microSD slot, and GPS.

A pair of cameras (8MP, 1.2MP) and a battery pack rated at 22Wh.
The docking station, which will be sold separately for $149, will sport a USB 2.0 port, full-sized SD slot and will work as auxiliary power source adding about 5 hours worth of juice.

The Transformer Prime will ship with Android Honeycomb and an ICS update has been promised soon after release.

The Eee Pad Transformer Prime will begin shipping in December with price-tags of $499 (32GB) and $599 (64GB).

Flash storage option is split between two models—32GB and 64GB.
