Sony announces Xperia Tablet S; packs Tegra 3, Android 4.0











Third Tablet from Sony has been announced on Wednesday at Berlin Germany. As there are words from mouth the new tablet joins Sony's smartphones under the Xperia sub-brand.

Sony Xperia S tablet featuring 9.4 inch display and runs on Ice Cream Sandwich on-board.It has NVIDIA's Tegra 3 quad-core processor and Infrared sensor. According to the company, Xperia Tablet S has enhanced the universal remote feature by adding macro functionality, allowing the ability to turn on multiple devices of most brands, including TV, Blu-ray Disc player and audio system, with the touch of one button.

Xperia Tablet S has one special feature known as guest mode that allows the owner of the tablet to add personalized configurations for different users by displaying different wallpaper, applications and widgets.
Several accessories for the tablet including a cover with keyboard, which features a thin keyboard that connects via the device's multi-port. Other accessories include docking stand, simple stand, carrying cover, a charging cradle and a dock speaker.

Xperia Tablet S is available in 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB versions and will be sold for about $399, $499 and $599 respectively starting September 7.
