How to Stop Facebook Games Easily

Facebook has all you want but here we are about to talk for Facebook games. Games are widely played on Facebook. Popular games like Farm ville and Mafia War are played by Facebook users. You are invited by your friends and others to play this game. But there are possibilities that you are not a Fan of such games on Facebook or you are not interested to play such games. So to avoid such games and stop people to flood your news feed with such requests you must have to stop such Game request.

You can stop games on Facebook by blocking requests from certain users or apps. Log-in in your Facebook account Select Game Requests from underneath your profile picture. Click on x(cross) near any game request you received. Now select what type of requests you like to block. You have option to block request from certain games or particular users.

Block notifications from certain games from your news feed. Scroll down on the feed until you locate the latest update from a gaming friend or game that you've played yourself. Hover your mouse over the update until a small "X" appears to the right side of the update. Click the "x" and select "Hide all by" with the name of the game. This will block all future posts from a particular game. Repeat the process for other games.

Visit the application for the game if you've been playing yourself, rather than a friend playing. Remove yourself from the application page to stop receiving communication through the application. This is done by clicking "Remove from my Page" underneath the profile picture for the game. This will stop future communication from the application and its users.

Block a Facebook game completely from updating you or affecting your profile in any way by visiting the application page and selecting "Block App" underneath the profile picture. This allows you to pick and choose the games that you want to stop receiving notifications from in any form.

Remove any type of game or application from affecting your news feed. This is recommended if you expect to use Facebook only for communication and not for any other type of function, such as quizzes, games, media sharing and photo editing. Select "Account," then "Privacy Settings" and then "Applications and Websites." You can then select "Turn off all platform applications." By doing so, you'll lose all information saved to any applications you've used in the past, and friends will not be able to communicate with you via apps. While the action is reversible, you won't be able to recover information.
